Thirsty and Friends

An energy drink and beverage review site

A small bottle of M-150 energy drink A grocery store aisle at Woody's grocery.

Woody's is a pretty cool grocery store. The floors are tiled so your cart doesn't run away.

M-150

Walking through Woody's one day we came across the M-150. I had heard rumors about this. That it was perhaps the original energy drink. The inspiration for Red Bull. There may have been some legal challenges involved. Who knows.

I snagged a bottle and took it back to the office. I stuck it in a drawer until months later when I was realy tired. I popped open the metal cap and took a sip. I started this review site.

Description: Candy in a bottle. Reminiscent of sweet tarts and Red Bull. Too much sugar for my tastes. But it tastes you know, good.

Dosage: Medium. Easy to drink.

Effect: Redbullish energy and a sugar high. Immediately slightly amped from the sugar. Uncertain if there were long lasting effects.

Star Rating

Rating 3.5 stars. Works just like a redbull but too much sugar. Too sweet for my tastes. The gold standard is sugar free Red Bull.

It really is very similar to regular Red Bull. Too much probably so it wasn't as exciting. Maybe I need to do a little history on this one and tell the whole story.
